起重运输机械事业部主要从事水利水电建设和造船港口、工厂起重运输机械、电站起重启闭设备的研发、设计、制造及总包。集近60年研发经验，先后承担了几十项国家科研和出口援外任务。近年来，本事业部将先进技术与全新设计理念相融合，使产品结构更优化，应力分布更合理，运行更平稳，动作更灵活，并采用了PLC控制、变频调速、直流调速、人机界面、无线远程网络控制等先进技术，使电控系统更加人性化、智能化。特别在建设用缆索起重机、门座起重机、电站厂房桥式起重机、坝顶/尾水门机和启闭机的设计、制造方面，处于我国行业领先地位。
Department of Crane and Conveying Machinery is mainly engaged in scientific research, development, design, manufacturing and main contracting of water resources and hydropower construction machinery, shipbuilding portal crane, plant gantry crane, hoisting crane of hydropower station. Rich in experiences of research and development for 60 years, the Department has undertaken a number of national scientific researches, export and foreign aid duties. In recent years, the advanced technologies have been combined in new design concept to make the products optimized in structure, stress distributing in reason, operation stabilization and quick in action. Many advanced technologies such as PLC control, DC speed adjusting, variable-frequency control, HIM and wireless remote network control etc. were adopted to make electrical control system artificial and intelligentized. Particularly, the design and manufacturing of cable crane, portal crane, overhead crane, gantry crane and winch hoist is always in leading place of the domestic industry.
